When the time came to expand to the Lone Star State, one of the top pipe manufacturers in the U.S. chose Temple, Texas.

Specializing in corrugated metal and plastic drainage products, full-line manufacturer Lane Enterprises operated several plants in Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states for more than 80 years before expanding to Temple in 2018.

A leader in manufactured products and services to the construction industry since 1934, the company sought to benefit from Central Texas’ connectivity and location.

The Temple facility serves the growing Texas market as well as support Lane’s customers in Mexico.

“Our Temple facility will be our first facility in Texas and our 12th facility in operation,” said Collings. “We look forward to partnering with contractors, engineers, [and] municipalities to serve customers from our new Central Texas location.”

Lane’s 64,000-square-foot Temple production facility, a $16.3 million investment, is housed within the 21-acre, rail-served Temple Industrial Park and designed to support future expansion as the company needs.

Lane Enterprises’ Temple facility operates alongside 130 manufacturers that employ more than 6,500 people in Temple.
