KEG 1 O’Neal, LLC (KEG 1 O’Neal) is celebrating the grand opening of its state-of-the-art distribution center in Temple, Texas. The $11-million capital investment is a consolidation and expansion of their presence in Temple to a new facility located on 23 acres in the Temple Industrial Park. The new 108,000-square-foot facility houses a regional office and commercial distribution warehouse creating 50 new jobs – totaling 110 employees in Temple.
KEG 1 O’Neal is a wholesale beer distributor that distributes a large assortment of alcoholic beverages to 30 counties in Texas. A leader in delivering both quality products and exceptional service to every customer, KEG 1 O’Neal has three (3) other facilities in Texas: Early, Fredericksburg, and Weatherford.
“We are proud and privileged to serve our customers of Temple, Texas, and the surrounding Central Texas region,” said Scott O’Neal, KEG 1 O’Neal President/Partner. “Our new distribution warehouse is a first-class facility that will service 12 counties in Central Texas. We look forward to a long standing and growing presence in Temple.”
KEG 1 O’Neal’s investment will join Temple’s thriving logistics and distribution district. H-E-B, Wal-Mart, McLane Company and Baylor Scott & White Distribution Center are just a few of the many industry leaders that have already established headquarters and major operations in Temple.
“Located within 2.5 hours of 22 million people, Temple is where location, infrastructure and workforce converge in one of Texas’ most cost-competitive markets,” said Adrian Cannady, Temple EDC President and CEO. “KEG 1 O’Neal has been located in Temple for over 10 years, and we are pleased to partner with KEG 1 O’Neal to expand their presence in Temple, retain 60 employees with competitive wages, and create an additional 50 new jobs in Temple.” The Temple EDC Board of Directors approved an economic development agreement in 2017 that includes a land grant.
