The organization was a recipient of the Texas Economic Development Council’s Economic Excellence Recognition for the second time.
In February, at its Winter Conference in San Antonio, the Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) recognized the Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC) as one of its 2023 Economic Excellence Recognition program recipients.
Recipients of this honor qualify based on training taken by their governing board or council, economic development director, and professional staff. Other considerations include certifications, professional memberships and activities, and organizational effectiveness of the economic development staff.
