The Texas Association of School Boards honors the Temple Economic Development Corporation (Temple EDC) the 2019 Business Recognition Program Award for partnering with Temple Independent School District on many initiatives. Temple EDC staff and Board members accepted the award at the Temple ISD Board meeting.
Temple EDC was recognized for supporting Temple ISD in a variety of ways from fostering strategic partnerships with area businesses/industries to advocating for the school district on legislative issues to hosting various forums that allow the district to connect with local stakeholders to help move the entire community forward.
