Construction on the Santa Fe Plaza Development is complete, and the Temple community will gather together to celebrate on October 8 from 5-8 p.m. Please join us for live music, Temple High cheerleaders and band, food trucks and much more!

The Plaza is a $30 million redevelopment downtown including a multi-functional plaza anchored by the Santa Fe Depot and flanked by the new Santa Fe Business Center and Temple Independent School District’s new administrative building.

The Temple Economic Development Corporation, the Temple Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Solutions of Central Texas partnered on the Santa Fe Business Center: a $9 million, 34,000-square-foot office development that serves as a one-stop shop for all things business development in Temple. The Santa Fe Business Center, combined with the new Temple ISD administrative building, brought 300 jobs to downtown Temple.

The community investment into the Santa Fe Plaza Development is expediting downtown redevelopment. The new jobs moved to the city center increased traffic to downtown retailers and restaurants – creating a lively, dynamic city center. With over $15 million of private investment announced since fall of 2018, private investors are clearly taking notice of the community’s commitment to downtown.

Join us on October 8 as we celebrate this milestone for our community!
