For four decades, Temple, Texas, has been home to one of the construction industry’s most trusted products: LIQUID NAILS®. The Pittsburgh Paints Co. Temple plant marked its 40th anniversary in 2025, having produced every tube of Liquid Nails used by professionals and weekend warriors across the country.
A Legacy Built in Temple
Opened in the mid 1980s, the Temple Liquid Nails plant quickly became a cornerstone of the adhesives market. The decision to locate in Central Texas reflected the city’s logistical strengths, connected infrastructure, skilled workforce, and pro-business environment.
Over the years, the facility has grown alongside the brand, expanding operations to meet rising demand, while continuing to deliver the quality and reliability customers expect. Today, the plant stands as the global production hub for Liquid Nails, cementing Temple’s role in one of the construction world’s most enduring success stories.

“Since I saw the first tube manufactured at our site 40 years ago until today and many more years to come, I still carry the same passion and proudness to continue the journey of excellence at our site,” said Rick Rodriguez, an active team member that started as one of the first employees at the site.
